The Building Process


Choosing to build a house should be one of the most exciting times of your life! We also understand it can seem daunting. From day one, we make sure that the building process is organized and communicated every step of the way, so that you can rest assured that everything is being take care of. 

First, we'll meet to discuss your existing or future plans. We will provide you with a client portfolio that will allow you to become more familiar with the process as well as to determine which building materials and finishes you are considering. From there, we can work together to establish a budget, create a design, and provide you with a comprehensive bid. We know how important sticking to a budget is, and we will ensure that this remains one of our top priorities as the builder of your home.


Whether you already have a complete set of plans, or are needing plans to be designed, we will help you navigate the next steps of putting your dream home on paper. Depending on where the home is being built, there may be a design review to determine that the design meets specific guidelines of the development. We will take care of this process as your builder.


For most homes in Central Oregon, we see a construction period of 12-18 months. This includes time for the designing and permits. As part of our construction contract, we will have a timeline stated that is specific to your project. Once construction begins, we will be on the job site daily, ensuring that all work is being accomplished in a timely and quality controlled manner. We will be on site for all inspections and deliveries. We encourage homeowners to visit the job site often, but we understand that this is sometimes not possible, and so we are happy to accommodate you through our client portal where you have access to your project remotely. When construction is complete, together, we will do a final walk through to ensure that all punch list items have been completed to your satisfaction.
